« Séjour mitigé : Équipe d'animation au top, mais logement à améliorer. Nous avons passé un séjour en demi-teinte. Côté positif, c'est un excellent camping familial doté d'une plaine de jeux au top. Malgré les aléas de la météo, l’équipe de Timo a été géniale et a su rebondir grâce à des activités variées et la piscine intérieure. Le Kids Club a été une vraie réussite. En revanche, grosse déception concernant l'hébergement. Pour une location qualifiée de premium, le mobil-home est très moyen : la literie manque de confort, la climatisation fait défaut et les emplacements sont trop proches, ce qui gâche l'intimité. Les infrastructures d'animation sauvent le séjour, mais le standing du logement n'est pas au rendez-vous. »

« We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad op camping Portland. De ligging is ideaal, de kampeerplekken heel groot, het zwembad heel leuk en lekkere temperatuur, fantastisch animatieteam, super vriendelijk en behulpzaampersoneel en overall een relaxte sfeer. Is de 5 sterren absoluut waard! »

« Friendly staff. Extremely clean pool, pool area and well maintained. Accomodation clean although the kitchen could be a lot better stocked with better pans etc. shop should have more essential provisions. The shops at other yelloh sites are a lot better equipped with products. »

« We had a great holiday at Portland as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 boys age 11 and 14) The children loved the pool facilities and how the pools all link up. The weather wasn't great second half of holiday but it didn't matter as the main pool with flume, lazy river, jacuzzi etc is indoors with retractable roof. The restaurant was really good - nice choice of food. Bicycle hire was really easy at reception and a 30-40 minute bike ride to Omaha beach. It's a 15 minute walk into the main port town. It's not a really big campsite which suited us as it felt quite peaceful. We would definitely return. »

« The place is beautiful. The swimming pools are big enough that it doesnt feel crowded even in de summer. The rental house/cabin had everything we needed and everything was clean. De staf at the reception speaks English and one of them Spanish! It was nice because our French is not that good. Is our first time at yelloh village and I wasn't sure if it was worth the price, but it sure does! »

« A very well organised and styled campingsite. Beautiful landscaping and very friendly personnel. And overall a very friendly atmosphere. Not hectic, but also not so quiet, the right kind of activity that allows you to relax. A good programme that invites to participate, but that is also because of an enthusiastic team! « My overall experience was excellent, especially as I stayed in peak season. All the staff were very pleasant and competent. This was my 2nd stay as my son and grandchildren were also staying on site. The pool area is very good for the grandchildren. »

« Het is een hele fijne camping met een gemoedelijke vibe. Timo, Jojo en hun animatieteam zijn echt geweldig, maken er echt een feestje van. Je kunt de hele dag vermaakt worden. Bij ons was de bingo, voetbaltoernooi, pool party en lasergamen favoriet. De kampeerplekken zijn ontzettend ruim. Schoon sanitair. Bij de douche kan de temperatuur nog al wisselen. Heerlijk baquettes en croissantjes in de ochtend. Goed restaurant. Super vriendelijk personeel. In hoogseizoen veel Nederlanders (ca 75%). Verder Duitsers, Fransen, Engelsen en Italianen. Op loopafstand van Port en Bessin, wel 18 % omhoog op de terugweg. Camping licht heel gunstig om alle plekken van de D-day/ invasiestranden te bezoeken. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug! »
